White River Baptist Church exists to encourage all people to pursue a lifelong, joyous relationship with Jesus Christ. Our history dates back to 1981 when a missionary family started a mission in Pettigrew, Arkansas. It was organized into a church in 1984. The church moved to its current location in 1983. We are a fundamental, independent Baptist church. That means that we are governed by our own members, not an outside organization.
