Pastor - Doug Francis

Douglas Francis became the pastor at White River Baptist Church in March of 2025. He was raised in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the son of an associate pastor in a Baptist church. As a teen he received Christ as his Lord and Savior. In his early 20’s God called him to surrender his life to the ministry.

With a burden to help Christians become grounded in the faith and learn how to live for the Lord in an increasingly ungodly society, Doug served from 2020-2022 as a full-time lay minister in his church, preaching and teaching the Bible in the church, and home Bible studies.

In July of 2022 he was ordained by his church as an associate pastor and served in that capacity until White River Baptist Church called him to pastor here. It is his sincere prayer that God will use WRBC to serve this community with the genuine love of God and the powerful gospel message of Jesus Christ our Lord.

“For our gospel came not unto you in word only but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance, as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.” 1 Thessalonians 1:5
